The first day trip, October 2, 2023 departed from JHOANE TOMOHON hotel, at 5.30 am. 15 minutes by car arrived at Mount Mahawu as a bird watching location.
In that place several species of birds were found: SULAWESI MYZOMELA WETAR (Myzomela
kuehni crimson-hooded myzomela) and SULAWESI WOODPECKER (Dendrocropos temmminckii).
After that we returned to the hotel.
The second day of the trip, October 3, 2023 we did birdwatching again from 5:30 AM-12:00 PM.
after that we returned to lunch at the hotel, and after lunch we left the hotel to go to
to TANGKOKO NATIONAL PARK, traveling for about two hours, after which we checked in at TANGKOKO HILLS.
then make observations at TANGKOKO NATIONAL PARK 4-6 PM.
Trip third day, we travel at 5.30 am, to make observations again until 12.00.
back to lunch at the inn. After that we rest for 2 hours, at 3 o’clock we make another observation at TANGKOKO NATIONAL PARK.
And observed some endemic birds.
The fourth day trip, like the same time we returned to observe and we also found several endemic bird species.
After that we took lunch back to the lodge, and after that,
we leave for the mangroves at 2 pm- 5 pm we return to the lodge.
The fifth day, we leave at 5:30 am to do birdwatching around the hills until 12:00.
and we also saw some endemic species. after that we had lunch at the lodge.
After that back again 2.00 pm around the hills and also get some species of birds, after that back to the lodge.
Sixth day, same hour 5.30, we do another observation in the forest of tangkoko national park until 12.00. we go back to the lodge for lunch.
after that check out leave for manado stay one night at the hotel around manado. the next day we leave for the destination.
