BIRD WATCHING TRIP WITH MIKE NELSON FROM BIRRT TOUR ASIA

The first day, we made observations from 6 am to 11.30 pm, and we observed several endemic bird species.
1. Green-backed Kingfisher (Actenoides monachus)
2. Lilac-cheeked Kingfisher (Cittura cyanotis)
3. Ashy Woodpecker (Mulleripicus fulvus
and other birds. After 11.30, we returned to the accommodation for lunch, and after that we rested for about 2 hours. Around 3 pm, we start to Mangrov by boat. And we saw that there were several types of endemic birds in the Mangrov.
1.Great-billed Kingfisher(Halcyon melanorhycha
2.Great-billed Heron)
And other birds.
The second day, around 6 am, we went to the Temboan climb and we saw several endemic bird species.
1. Sulawesi Hornbill (Penelopides exrahatus)
2. Sulawesi crested Myna (Basirlornis celebensis)
3. White-faced cucudove (Turacoena manadensis)
and several other endemics.
After that we return to the accommodation and the trip is finished.
