BIRDING TOUR SIX DAY NOVEMBER 2023 TANGKOKO-TOMOHON

The first day started at 6 am from the lodge until half past 11 am. and we found some endemic species of birds in Tangkoko National Park. and we returned to the lodge at 11:30 am, and arrived at the lodge at 12:00 noon. and we ordered lunch, after which we rested for about 2 hours. and at 2 o’clock we continued the journey again to Tangkoko tourist park, We traveled until 6pm. And we saw in one day there are about 20 endemic species in Tangkoko National Park.

the second day, we departed from the lodge at 6 am until 11 am, and we found there were about 10 endemic species and others. after that we returned to the lodge at about half past 12, and we ordered lunch. after that we rested for about 2 hours. and at 2 pm we went to the mangrov forest using a boat. we traveled to the mangrov until 5 pm. and we saw there were several endemic species that were in the mangrov forest. after we returned to the inn.

the third day, we started to travel again to tangkoko national park (temboan mountain). we started the trip at 6 am. we made observations until half past 12, and we saw about 15 species of endemic birds and so on. after making observations we returned to the inn and we ordered lunch. after finishing lunch we left for tomohon, the journey to tomohon was about 2 hours and a half. after arriving in tomohon, we headed to the hote.

On the fourth day, before we traveled, we had breakfast at 7am. After that, we traveled to Mount Mahawu from half past 8 until 11:30. 11.30. After that, we made observations around Mount Mahawu. and we sawsaw 15 species of endemic birds and others. after that we returned to the lodge at 12 o’clock for lunch. lodging at 12 o’clock for lunch. after lunch, we rested for about 2 hours. rest for about 2 hours. after that, we traveled again until 5pm. After that, we returned to the lodge.

on the fifth day, before continuing our observations, we had breakfast at 7am. After that, we traveled to mahawu mountain from 8 am to 11:30 am. After a few hours of observation we found that there were about 5 species of endemic birds that we found in mahawu mountain. after that we returned to the lodge at 12 noon for lunch. lodging at 12 noon for lunch. after that we rested for about 2 hours. After that we traveled to Lake Tondano around half past 3. After arriving in tondano we looked for birds around the lake until 5pm, and we found 5 birds. 5pm, and we found 5 species of endemic birds and there were some others as well.

On the sixth day, we will also continue our trip, but before that we will have breakfast first. After breakfast, we traveled to Linow Lake around the city of linow lake around tomohon city. we did this trip around 8.30-11.30am. 8.30-11.30. and we did some observation and we saw some duck species. lake and others. and we returned to the inn for lunch. after lunch we left the hotel around 12 noon and headed straight to Manado, about 1 hour. after arriving in Manado at 2 pm we went straight to the hotel and the trip was over.
